30 Hours a week, £12.50 an hour.

This is an exciting opportunity for a person with the right mix of initiative, skills and experience to oversee the daily functioning of the successful Hub Community Cafe and help develop it to serve the Newport community.

The role will involve leading a team of volunteers to run the café and being ‘hands-on’ in ensuring the front of house works smoothly. The team includes members who have additional needs and it is a key aim of the community cafe to build their work experience and confidence.

Working alongside the Café Manager (Operations) you will be responsible for the effective and efficient planning and delivery of high quality preparation of food and service, and supervision of the kitchen and the front of house operation.

You will be supported by the Hub Café Manager (operations), Town Clerk and the volunteers in the Community Café.
