Newport Youth Cafe Project
The Newport Youth Cafe Project started in 2013. Our purpose is to provide a space for the young people of Newport. The Hub is based in the centre of the town and hosts a volunteer run cafe, function space to hire and weekly youth club.
As a registered charity the profit from sales in the cafe will be put into events and experiences for young people. This project aims not only to provide a space for young people to meet but also to help their wider opportunities within the Borough.
As a charitable organisation our trustees are made up of Newport’s Town Councillors. Their ambition is to see the young people of Newport have the opportunity to train, work and reach their potential through a community run cafe and public space.

Newport Youth Cafe Project
The NYCP is a Registered Charity (no 1076691) and governed by our board of Trustees. They have overall legal responsibility for all aspects of the charity including its finances, building, staff and activities. Our annual report and accounts are submitted to The Charity Commission every year.
